Not ordinarily a rare bird in SBCo during the winter, this species has seemed pretty scarce this year. On the way home from the grocery store "senior hour" this morning I spotted, and stopped to watch for a while, a flock of about 15 CEWA feeding on Cotoneaster berries in a front yard on the southeast corner of Alamar and Paseo del Descanso, in San Roque.
