Weather: Sunny with moderate winds shifting from SW early to W then eventually NW. Below freezing in the morning then warm in the afternoon.
Raptor Observations: A steady trickle of Turkey Vultures throughout the day. 34 Red-tails and 12 Red-shoulders. Three light-morph Rough-legged Hawks in the afternoon. An immature Golden Eagle in the morning. Two kestrels and a merlin.
Non-raptor Observations: 90 Snow Geese, 100 Tundra Swans, 20 American Coots, 8 Killdeer, Pileated Woodpecker, Common Redpoll, 2 Eastern Meadowlarks.
Predictions: Sunday: Sunny. High 11C. Winds E at 10-15km/h. Expect light to moderate migration.
Monday: Sunny with a few afternoon clouds. High 15C. Winds SE at 10-15km/h. Expect light to moderate migration.
