Flying and perching in oak tree. Empidonax flycatcher with two white wing bars, partial white eye rings, and small crest. Drab greenish olive overall.
Continuing bird, not distinguishable from me from the dusky flycatcher seen at Bella Vista Open Space this winter also. Primaries did seem longish but not an identification I have much experience."

Pale cheek and underparts. Black and white stripes on head and back, somewhat bold markings for a female. Was foraging on trunks of shrubs and creekside oaks to the east of the playground. Made little seet flight calls as it moved from tree to tree."
