Today I had two RN Grebes just W of Gaviota. I found them off the pull out immediately before the first sign saying you will be entering Hollister Ranch. The pull says no parking, but I stayed by the car (and had seen the tow truck already head off down the road!). The birds are distant and require a good scope. No chance of photos.
