These three CBC's were held on 12/14 (30th Mt. Jeff.), 12/20 (28th Stone Mtn.), and 1/5 (8th Wilkesboro=Upper Yadkin Valley).
Each count found our highest or second highest species total, and significantly higher than normal counts for individuals. Waterfowl and waterbird numbers, in line with regional trends, were way down but most other birds were at normal or slightly higher than normal levels for the amount of effort.
