Two Phainopeplas spotted at intersection of trail from Alpine Rd and Dish loop. Male (black w/ red eyes, white wing patches) reported earlier by Adam B. and a female ( brown w/ red eyes)! At one point they were together in a bush right next to the trail, then flew off in different directions. Will load pics to eBird later. 1/8 2:00 pm N.
