Subject: [southbaybirds] Snow Goose in Hidden Lake Park, Milpitas
All,
At about 11:25 this morning (1/5/2021) a first year white SNOW GOOSE was in Hidden Lake Park in Milpitas. Earlier I had missed the Hermit Warbler in Lick Mill Park (a RED-BREASTED SAPSUCKER was a consolation prize) and missed the Glaucous Gull and Ruff in New Chicago Marsh. Frank Vanslager found an AMERICAN PIPIT on the island nearest the dirt parking lot and a single MEW GULL was in the northern part of the Sprekles Ave, portion of the marsh.
Take care,
Bob Reiling
