I had a chance encounter with a hunter on January 1 they reported a golden eagle feeding on a hog carcass at Bay City. Currently there are two adult bald eagles and a suspect golden eagle sitting in a tree on the south side of the field. Address is 3293 Bay City Rd., a blue bungalow house. Hopefully somebody in the area can come by here. Light conditions and lack of a telescope make a confirmation impossible for me at this moment.
