Jeff Mielke sent me two photos of a Yellow-throated Warbler he had in his yard in Raleigh today (Dec. 30). Interestingly, the bird has white lores. However, from what I've read, the division between trans-Appalachian white- lored birds and cis-Appalachan yellow-lored birds is now thought not to be as clean as used to be believed, so the origin of this bird may not be certain.
