Highlights while conducting surveys in Shoreline at Mountain View Regional
Wildlife Area included:

1 male EURASIAN WIGEON (no sign of hybrid) in the SE corner of Charleston

1 OSPREY flyover in the NE corner

115 BLACK-BELLIED PLOVERS in Charleston Slough during low tide

1 juvenile PEREGRINE FALCON stooping and flushing peeps in Charleston Slough

7 basic plumage DUNLIN at the Charleston Slough inlet during low tide

An unexpected COMMON GALLINULE in Charleston Slough during low tide

3 NORTHERN HARRIERS (2 IN Charleston Slough and 1 in the NE Meadowlands)8
