Evening Grosbeak 37 Continuing. No doubt: large, pale bills. Males yellow, females pale yellowish gray; both with black wings and tail. Very vocal in treetops while waiting for home owner to finish putting out food. The males' yellow glowed in the morning sun. 19 females and 8 males fed on ground in two sunflower seed patches near end of driveway. Maybe 10-20 birds feeding beneath the feeders just beyond a rise in the front yard (could not see well from my vantage point along the road). Home owner said that best time to see birds is when she puts out the food between 8:30 and 9am. They do not come in the evening.
House Finch 3
American Goldfinch 15
Dark-eyed Junco 10
Eastern Towhee 1
Northern Cardinal 3
