As previously reported, about 1/2M west of the Stile Ranch trailhead to Santa Teresa County Park, at a place where the Calero Creek Trail crosses a creek, actually just past the creek along a dirt road past an orchard behind a fence marked "Private Property" (seen there between 12 and 12:30 today; earlier it had been seen on the hillside a little before the creek).
It never got particularly close, and was generally poking around the grass (accompanied by one or two California Towhees and a Bewick's Wren), but I did get some decent shots.
Please be discreet in disclosing locations of nesting birds. Disclosure of nests for Owls and Raptors is prohibited.
