Subject: [CT Birds] Westerly, RI Painted Bunting
The female Painted Bunting found yesterday during the Napatree CBC was just reported refound by Sue Palmer. It was at the corner of Kathleen Dr and Maplewood Ave in Watch Hill, Westerly. This is ENE of where Andrew Dasinger and I originally found it but within the L-shaped “block” of wetlands ringed by suburban homes. The wetland is viewable along Kathleen Dr much better than from Oceanview Hwy or Bayberry.
