Subject: [CT Birds] Eagle roost, upper L. Whitney, Hamden?
Upper Lake Whitney, Waite St. causeway, Hamden, this afternoon, 12/26.

3 Bald Eagles, immature, in pines behind Peninsula, where seen before. Are they forming a roost? Potential nest? It’s only about half a mile from the heronry, a cause for concern.

Also, 3 GB Herons, B. Kingfisher, about 40 Hooded Merganser & 5 Common Merganser, FOS. And a blooming dandelion.
