Hi friends. I went out for a walk on the Bay Trail after the lunch. In the Soap Pond, I counted 20+ Green-winged teals, 20+ American Wigeons. What's interesting was both breeding & non-breeding Northern Shovelers.
Also, a Coopers Hawk flew by, of which I thought it was a Norther Harrier but never grabbed a shot.
The other surprise was a ring necked Pheasant in the Casey Forebay.
Please be discreet in disclosing locations of nesting birds. Disclosure of nests for Owls and Raptors is prohibited.
