Subject: [kerncobirding] Nov 21 UPDATE: 200 Kern Species for Nov 2020
Hi,

The quest to have 200+ bird species eBirded for a single month of
November for Kern County continues. If you haven’t entered your
contribution(s) yet, please do so as eBird shows 181 species entered
now with a known backlog of enough species (including some of the
following) to get us close to/at/over 200 and show up in the eBird
database when entered and processed.

Reported since the last update were CACKLING GOOSE (Brenda Kyle & Ken
Kyle), COMMON GROUND-DOVE (Bob Barnes), RED-THROATED LOON (Susan
Steele), WESTERN SCREECH-OWL (Bill Haas), PILEATED WOODPECKER (Susan
Steele), HUTTON’S VIREO (Susan Steele), CLARK’S NUTCRACKER (Bob
Barnes), WRENTIT (Steve Summers), GOLDEN-CROWNED KINGLET (Susan
Steele), PYGMY NUTHATCH (Bob Barnes), BROWN CREEPER (Susan Steele),
PACIFIC WREN (Susan Steele), AMERICAN DIPPER (Bob Barnes), SAGE
THRASHER (Bill Haas), TOWNSEND’S SOLITAIRE (Susan Steele), YELLOW
WARBLER (Dane Fagundes), CLAY-COLORED SPARROW (Bill Haas),
WHITE-THROATED SPARROW (Kelli Levinson), RUFOUS-CROWNED SPARROW (Susan
Steele), YELLOW WARBLER (Dane Fagundes),...

Below are the two lists of species still remaining to be possibly
found and reported to eBird for November 2020. Help us get to and past
200 to put this puppy fully to bed.

Before reading the lists take note that Alison “Ali” Sheehey sends
notification that the kerncobirding yahoo groups listserv will
disappear in the next few weeks. Replacing it, and currently available
(I’ve signed up), is the replacement - <kerncobirdinggroups...>
