The Townsend's Solitaire at Caledonia State Park was present this AM (11/15) and seen by a handful of birders.
It flew in just before 8 AM and perched on the solar water heater behind the office. It then moved to the nearby junipers and fed once or twice, before moving to one of the bare trees along the circle behind the office.
We also heard some fly-over Evening Grosbeaks, but they didn't come into the feeders like they did on Friday.
Thanks again to Bob K. for finding and sharing the bird.
