Subject: [obol] Fwd: Drewsey Winter Raptor Route, Harney county

Had 27 birds on this route, about usual. 67 miles, 34 degrees to start,
40 at finish. Hundreds of Cal Quail in town but I could not find a
Cooper's Hawk. They are missing out on easy pickings. One Northern
Shrike. Low numbers of passerines, except robins, juncos and Mtn.

7 Red-tails

7 Amer kestrels

6 Northern Harriers

2 Bald Eagles, adults

1 Golden Eagle

1 Rough-leg - pestering the Golden

2 Prairie Falcons

1 Sharp-shin

Good birding, Judy
