Non-raptor Observations: Ravens and crows put on a show throughout the day. I took bird food to the watch site entertaining many small birds as tufted titmice, chickadees, gold finches, 20 cedar waxwings, blue birds, white breasted and red breasted nuthatches, white throated sparrows Carolina wren, yellow bellied sapsucker and downy woodpeckers, robins and juncos. I was standing at my scope adjusting it and a red breasted nuthatch hung on the brim of my hat. Awesome! One grey comma butterfly seen.
