Weather: The wind was the story of the day. The skies were partly cloudy. Winds were from the NW averaging around 25 mph gusting into the mid 30s mph. Temperatures were in the low to mid 40s which made the wind chill tolerable.
Raptor Observations: Some of the birds were getting tossed in the wind. Some were being pushed along at a rapid speed and many were in a tucked position which made ID sometimes challenging. A nice push of harriers in the 1-2 hour There were 4 adult and one subadult bald eagle
Non-raptor Observations: only about 30 Canada Geese seen Double crested cormorant-15 Common Loon-3 Common raven-2
Predictions: A sunny day with much more tolerable wind Mostly sunny, with a high near 53.
