Finally got a good influx of waterfowl with this rain and cold weather. Canada Goose numbers were actually way down to only a handful. Today saw 45-50 Am Coots, 2 Pied-billed Grebes, ~30 Gadwall, 35-40 Ring-necked Ducks, and, a first for me at this location, 9 Wood Ducks, including 4 adult males and 2 young males, one of which had a really good start on all of the white borders on his head. The other was just beginning the transition to his adult duds.
