Subject: SPOTTED TOWHEE, good yard bird in Fayetteville
This wasn't a birding day for me. I was out helping with a gardening project. But when I got home this afternoon I looked out at the feeder. Lo and behold, a fine male Spotted Towhee. This one is close to our earliest local arrival (October 12). Glad I washed that window after the Bewick's Wren in the same place September 28. eBird submission with photos: https://ebird.org/checklist/S74981520<https://nam11.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Febird.org%2Fchecklist%2FS74981520&data=04%7C01%7C%7C5b93e58fe24c49dc594808d872e0f45b%7C79c742c4e61c4fa5be89a3cb566a80d1%7C0%7C0%7C637385657785116020%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C1000&sdata=5FZr%2BH3ACMTpw%2F4sRN5A5gmCGom1iKfHNhohCiqaWCY%3D&reserved=0>
