Subject: [birders] Preventing bird strike deaths -- GP Audubon Monday night -- you are invited
Friends:
You are invited to join Grosse Pointe Audubon's monthly meeting at 7:30 on Monday night for a presentation by Nick Liadis on preventing bird strike deaths. Liadis is an architect and research fellow at the Carnegie Museum of Natural History in Pittsburgh who has had a research appointment at the Powdermill Avian Research Center.  His talk will explore why birds strike windows and buildings and how improved designs can help birds safely navigate around buildings and cities.
Please email me for the link to the meeting.
