Observed it stretching straight upwards, then flew off at which point I was able to note the contrasting dark wingtips/flight feathers with the rest of the upper wing and back. Seen just past the old abutments of the 35th street bridge here (34.6880469, -120.5868065)."
Northern Parula (Setophaga americana) (1) - Reported Oct 02, 2020 11:40 by Mario Borunda - Orpet Park and Riviera Business Park, Santa Barbara, California - Map: http://maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&t=p&z=13&<q...>,-119.7047755&<ll...>,-119.7047755 - Checklist: https://ebird.org/checklist/S74331244 - Comments: "I believe it must be the continuing bird. Looked just like the photos taken by Adam Searcy. Yellow throat and chest fading into a light belly. Bluish gray head, nape, and onto wing. Two white wing bars. This sighting was further up Lasuen Rd, closer to Moreno Dr. I saw it in an oak on the Orpet Park side of Lasuen and it flew to a Euc on the other side of Lasuen. It was about 80-100 yards from the intersection of Lasuen and Alameda Padre Serra."
