- Comments: "Continuing rarity on the beach, closer to Goleta Beach than UCSB Lot 6. Long, droopy bill. Brown line around eye, but white above and below it. Faint brownish patch on breast. Finer wing pattern than Dublin. Photos."

- Comments: "Continuing known bird. Bill longer and of slightly more delicate proportions than Dunkin. Lighter brown and plumage more varied in color as well, still showing faint traces of rufous color on the crown and in the folded wings. Proportionally long black legs and black feet. Prominent pale supercilium in the face. A thick brown line behind the eye almost connected with the brownish nape."

- Comments: "White eyebrow, scalloped upperparts, dark decurved bill, all-white rump in flight. Started out about 500 feet N of lot 6 stairs, and flushed to approximately 34.41446, -119.83845. Foraging in wrack line with sanderlings, dunlin, and black turnstones. Walked a little further toward the end of the beach. The flock of sanderlings flushed back to the stairs, but the curlew stayed behind with a handful of turnstones and plovers. Photos TBA."

- Comments: "Seen for 10th day in this area. It moved very rapidly and was very busy probing sand and dense kelp . with its long bill - result was dirty looking black bill. Longer legs than sanderlings with which it mingled. Long bill slightly downcurved. Whitish supercilium. The bird blends well with surrounding sand and kelp."

- Comments: "Continuing with sanderlings. About half way between staircase and goleta beach. Spent a lot of time with its head tucked but eventually came out to forage on the dry sand. Slightly larger than sanderlings. Tan brown upper parts, weak eye line, light tan wash on breast, long dark legs, long downcurved bill."

- Comments: "adult with strong black cap similar to breeding, slight white above bill, which appeared black. Deep forked whitish tail, pale gray upperparts and upperwing except extensive black at primaries ends, unlike Forsters. Whitish, not gray underbody. No carpal darkness. Appearance most similar to adult breeding Common Tern, except what looked to be black bill. Legs not observed. Seen from 50 feet as it briefly picked something off estuary near Elegant Tern flock and then flew back to ocean.."

- Comments: "First found by Libby Patten on September 20, 2020. Distinguished from nearby Cassin’s Kingbirds by its lighter gray head, longer black bill, greenish back, and brighter yellow belly which came higher up on the breast (and where it seemed slightly smudged with green). This bird had a notched tail that lacked the white tip of a Cassin’s Kingbird."

Presumably a male based on the bright yellow-green back, black trans-ocular eyeline, bright yellow-green wings with indistinct yellowish tips to the coverts, but not enough to call them wingbars. White undertail coverts with short, dark, tail. The bird was located in the same tree reported earlier, in the lower branches of the large eucalyptus tree on the west side of the slough just after you cross underneath the railroad bridge and just before you enter the campground on the right. Photographs will be added."
