Pretty easy to see from 3rd view platform along with a Avocet. Eared Grebes (12) have arrived.  Possible hybrid (m) Redhead + Lesser Scaup. Crisp plumage, head is rufousy - no green or purple tinge, yellow eye, bill with indistinct ring, ruffled top of head, dark breast and mottled sides. I thought it was a  L.scaup last week and now I'm not so sure.
