Portland birder L.J. Fagnan reports as follows:
"I was in my study looking out the window when a juvenile Rock Wren showed up. Distinctive markings with buffy flanks and buffy tip of the tail, and fine speckles over the back and wings. I was unable to get a photo. I live near Tryon Creek Park and Lewis & Clark College. We have been in our house for 26 years and this is a first for me. I am assuming this bird has been seen in this part of the state before.
