All Yellow-rumped Warblers passing through the central Trans-Pecos are Audubon's, or at least that is all I have seen. They and Wilson's Warblers continue to move through the area in good numbers. I estimate that I have seen up to 1000 Wilson's Warblers in the last three weeks.
I have a small yard in Alpine that is landscaped to be bird friendly. During this period I have observed 31 species of migrants in the yard. Nothing unusual on the list, but amazing numbers of individuals.
