Subject: [sbcobirding] Chase Palm Blackpoll, Mission Creek Baird’s
Some brief stops this morning have yielded low numbers of “expected” migrants as well as a BLACKPOLL WARBLER in the sycamores/Eucalyptus at the Laguna Creek bridge on the west end of Chase Palm Park The bird was loosely associating with a Yellow Warbler and a Pacific-slope Flycatcher. There was decent activity in the Eucs nearer to the traintracks here (upstream) as they‘re pretty lerpy and will be worth checking this season.

Two BAIRD’S SANDPIPERS were foraging/roosting on the damp flats on the ocean side of the Mission Creek lagoon.

Good birding,
