A Pomarine Jaeger was found by Richard Kaskan on the morning of 9-1-2020 in Granger Lake, viewable from the dam overlook. It was also reported and photographed by a number of other observers, including Rich Kostecke and Arman Moreno later in the day, continuing through 7:00 pm. The views of the bird from the dam overlook were mostly distant, flying over the lake and sitting in the water, although it did come considerably closer on a number of occasions. It was observed most often in the middle of the lake, west of the dam in the open water in front of where the San Gabriel and Willis Creek arms split.
