- Comments: "Presumptive Juvenile... Originally flushed bird by accident up
by jetty while driving. It flew south with some whimbrels and 2 black
turnstones. I was immediately drawn to its black and white wing pattern
while it was in flight. The bird landed with some marbled godwits and
immediately tucked it’s head. When it began walking again I observed its
medium sized gray bill. I briefly viewed the bird through binos and could
see a buff/light color tone in it gray feathers hence why I believe it’s a
juvenile. Its pale legs almost appeared blue-ish from a distance. Light
colored breast visible in poor cellphone quality photos."

- Comments: "1st discovered at Love's Truck Stop (Oregon I-84, Exit 159 )
by Aaron Beerman. Found again by Trent Bray, Neal Hinds, and Mark
Ludwick. Bird seemed to be alternating between the south side, and north
side of the truck stop. Food was from a small, nearly dried-up pond on
the south side of truck stop where the trucks are entering. The bird would
land periodically in the car parking lot on the north side.
Thanks for the heads-up Trent!"
