Subject: [southbaybirds] Slow birding in Alviso
This morning (7/22) except for 2-300 Phalaropes in the pond East of Spreckles Ave in Alviso birding was extremely slow. The flock was primarily made up of non-breeding WILSON'S PHALAROPES (lots of spinning to get at the "goodies") with a few RED-NECKED PHALAROPES well seen. Ulistac was equally slow.
Take care,
Bob Reiling
