Subject: [CT Birds] Sandpiper ID from Crosby Pond
Thank you everyone who responded with suggestions about the bird at Crosby
After reviewing resources-print and online, I think what I observed was a
Solitary Sandpiper. Coloration, beak size, neck size, and bobbing behavior
seem to be the closest match.
This birding community is great! Thank you again.
