Subject: [CT Birds] Stonington Point Great Shearwater
Alerted by Phil Rusch that he had a Great Shearwater from Old Saybrook, I rushed down to Stonington Point and had one within ten minutes. It was only about 150 yards from the point heading east. A bit later I had a Merlin going west. Strange time for one but seen well. Details will be submitted for both birds on eBird later. Also six Common Eider.
