Subject: [MDBirding] Inner Harbor, 06/15/20
|Yesterday, took a light rail down to Inner Harbor from Hunt Valley for a
nice, long walk along waterfront promenade to Canton Waterfront Park and
back. good variety of birds along way.
Pier 3: Osprey, Gray Catbird
Pier 4: Osprey, family of House Finches
Pier 5: Osprey, young American Robin, young Gray Catbird
Pier 6: Song Sparrow
Harbor East: nesting Barn & Rough-winged Swallows
Harbor Point: Killdeer, Spotted Sandpiper, Common Terns
Fells Point: Common Tern
Anchorage: House Wren, Brown Thrasher
Canton: Great Blue Heron, Black-crowned Night Heron, Common Yellowthroat
Canton Waterfront Park: common birds
on way back, made a quick stop to see night heron rookery at a tiny city
