Subject: [inland-NW-birders] Kettle Falls Eurasian Wigeon
The Kettle Falls town waste water treatment ponds have a EURASIAN WIGEON.
Continues since yesterday. Lone male mixed in with large group of American
Wigeon along with Mallards, Northern Pintails. This has been a personal
Stevens County nemesis bird for some time. Bagged it.

Best access for viewing is walking through Meyers Falls Cemetery (in the
town of Kettle Falls itself), through south entrance, straight west to tree
line, walk very slowly through the woods to view the ponds (skittish birds),
look at the small pond on the right. I recommend morning so you are in
shadow in the trees and the sun is still in their eyes.
