Subject: [EBB-Sightings] Huge flock of Cedar Waxwings
Late afternoon yesterday, taking a walk in the Highland Park neighborhood
of Oakland (not far from where I live), I came across the largest flock of
Cedar Waxwings I've ever seen: I counted 175 of them, perched in a tree as
the rain ended.

Here's the link <https://ebird.org/checklist/S66188630> to my ebird list.

I've seen somewhat smaller flocks in the neighborhood at a similar time of
day in the past week or two, feeding on what I think are peppertree
berries.
