Subject: [ia-bird] Saylorville Birds
Hey Birders,

Harney and I walked a loop through Cottonwood Recreation Area below
Saylorville Dam (Polk Co.) and it was fairly birdy. Of interest were a FOX
SPARROW, EASTERN PHOEBE, a couple of GOLDEN-CROWNED KINGLETS (FOY), and a
few DOUBLE-CRESTED CORMORANTS flying overhead. In the same spot yesterday
we had small flock of YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLERS (FOY). Colorful EASTERN
BLUEBIRDS seem to be foraging in pairs and are a nice bright spot on these
gray mornings.

Good Birding,

Stuart Sparkman
