I also had my first LA Waterthrush today.  I usually hear them on the first warm window-open day but this year my soul needed some time spent birding so I got to hear and see one instead.

The YT Warbler surprised me yesterday afternoon but I knew it meant the L Waterthrushes were on their way! It was the first thing I heard when I stepped outside this morning.
