Subject: Re: [CT Birds] Eagle in New Haven
Here is a Facebook post from yesterday afternoon/evening. Please call A Place called Hope. They had her for rehabilitation. If still injured they want to come get her. Please and thank you.
UPDATE: The eagle hit by an 18 wheeler 3 weeks ago (Rachel) was released Tuesday. She went back to her nest Wednesday and got into a struggle with another female who has been at the nest for 2 weeks. Rachel sustained an injury to her beak. It's believed that she is the eagle seen in the Dwight neighborhood in New Haven flying low and looking unsteady.
If you see her please call A Place Called Hope immediately!
203-804-3453.
If you are able to keep eyes on her until help arrives, that would be ideal.
THANK YOU!!!
