Final Results of the Superbowl of Birding XVII:

Zeiss Joppa Cup: 215 points, The Thrashers, Davey Walters captain
Directors Cup: 84 species, 4th and Longspurs, Steve Mirick captain
Essex County: 104 points, First Eider Downies, Amy Lepak captain
Rockingham County: 152 points, Incomplete Passerines, Greg Tillman captain
Parker River NWR Award: 85 points, Saw What?, Strickland Wheelock captain
Townie Award: 66 species, Twitchers out of the Rye, Becky Suomala captain
Seekers Award: all 30 species at 4:23 pm, Fly-by-Knights,
NewBies Award: 68 points (tie broken by 8-point birds), Bird Call Crew, Lisa Hutchings captain
Lifer Award: 48 species, Gordon College Kingpishers, Amelia Wood and Jennifer Noonan, tie
Fledgling Award: all species by 1:14 pm, Indigo Puntings, Ethan Borland captain

Total number of species = 128 (including write-ins: Semipalmated Plover, Bullock's Oriole, Greater White-fronted Goose, House Wren, Eastern Phoebe, and Red-headed Woodpecker).

I will post the full matrix of points and species for each team and the full species list after the weekend.
