Subject: [kerncobirding] continuing adult male Barrow's Goldeneye seen on the Kern River 1/14/20
Today, Tuesday, 1/14/20, we observed the continuing adult male Barrow's Goldeneye on the Kern River. Ken took a photo of this bird that was approximately 250 yards from where we were standing. We will provide a link from eBird to this posting in order for you to see the photo he took today.

To get to this location, we drove to the east end of Hart Park.  We walked to where the south canal and the KernRiver meet. We then walked to the dirt trail near the chained link fence that surrounds the canal water intake. We proceeded to walk south on the dirt trail  along the Kern River for approximately 301 yards.  We saw the Barrow's Goldeneye about 250 yards upstream from where we stood. Photos were taken.
The photo coordinates were:     35` 26' 36" N / 118` 54' 10" W
