Subject: Re: [CT Birds] Goose flock on Lake Wepawaug, Orange - pink-footed, greater white-fronted, and snow geese
In addition to the Pink-footed, Greater White-fronted, and Snows, we had at
least one Cackling and a potential immature Snow x Ross’s hybrid: Juvenile
bird, light dusty gray body overall. Much, much smaller than associating
SNGO, with a smaller, stubbier, more triangular bill. Partial grin patch
still visible ruling out pure ROGO.
