- Comments: "Continuing birds. The bird with less striking facial features continues to forage in the Coleman Beach area staying fairly close to the floating dock. The bird with more distinct facial features was found foraging with 4 Surf Scooters near the Morro Rock jetty close to the exposed beach."

- Comments: "Continuing male (first ebird report with photo on 1/3/20 by Manuel Duran/Alejandra Cedillo): Light brown cheek patch; pink bill with dark base and dark tip and obvious whitish scapulars draped over the black folded wings.--- Seen today with a raw area on the forehead, which was not observed on Jan 5, 2020 (ebird photos/video). --- Different bird from the one observed today, as well, from Morro Rock (see separate ebird checklist for "Morro Rock" ebird hot spot), which has a dark brown cheek patch, an all dark bill and no scapulars. ---

- Comments: "Continuing first winter bird, first reported on ebird 1/9/20 (Tom Edell/Kaaren Perry).--- Seen from the southern end of the board walk. --- White overall with faint brown mottling on the back and in the face (unless the latter stems from blood from feeding on Elephant Seal afterbirth); white wings when stretched; pink legs; pink bill with black tip; dark eye.

- Comments: "Continuing since 11/11/19. Didn't see him yesterday, though I looked all day for him. Already have sighted him several times today so he hasn't left . . . yet. He stays hunkered down when feeding and pushes away the White-Crowned Sparrows. The Cooper's Hawk and Merlin are very frequent visitors so the GTTO is remaining very cautious."
