Subject: [slocobirding] Y-B Sapsucker at Cuesta Park
There is now a different Yellow-bellied Sapsucker at Cuesta Park (not College) than the one recorded here during the CBC on Dec 14. This individual appears to be an adult female with a white throat, whereas the previous sightings were of a red-throated male, based on comparative photos. I initially assumed it was the same “continuing” bird. Some i.d. quality photos at https://ebird.org/checklist/S63147721. ( https://ebird.org/checklist/S63147721 )
