Subject: [CT Birds] Stamford birds

Birding around Stamford with Patrick Dugan this morning was productive. 10 or so Razorbills and an adult Northern Gannet off Shippan Point, and a young female Barrow's Goldeneye feeding with Brant west of Shippan Point that swam west out of sight around another Point. The adult Greater White-fronted Goose was in Stamford harbor with both  scaup species, and a Bonaparte's Gull was on Holly Pond. Purple Sandpipers were reported on the jetty off Cummings Park.
