Subject: [JERSEYBI] Beach Plum Farm access: Wednesday AM
Birders wishing to look for the Mountain Bluebird may join in a special
group outing at Beach Plum Farm on Wednesday morning (December 4), from
9-11am. Mike Pasquarello will meet participants in the main parking lot at
9:00 sharp. Folks will need to stay with the group at all times and remain
on designated paths. No need to RSVP, but please remember that the farm is
closed to the public during the week and that the only facilities available
will be in the form of porta-potties. BPF is located at 140 Stevens Street,
West Cape May. Please refer to previous messages for additional
instructions regarding the site.

Obviously, there is no guarantee that the Mountain Bluebird will still be
present, especially with conditions becoming more favorable for departure
once the current storm departs-- but this is still a great opportunity.
Thanks to Mike and the folks at Beach Plum Farm for making this arrangement
possible.

No word on any of the other Cape May rarities today, though the weather was
again less than ideal for searching. A Pomarine Jaeger was noted at the
Avalon Seawatch on Sunday morning, and a Pacific Loon flew north past
Avalon today.

best,
tr
