I signed up and shared the info on Facebook/Twitter. See if we can get a few folks down there. Would had to see a count circle missed after more than 40 consecutive years, even if some were sparsely attended.

The Sequoyah National Wildlife Refuge has conducted a Christmas Bird Count every year since 1975, but has decided they will not do the count this year unless more people commit to participate. The tentative date for the count is Wednesday, December 18. People who participate will have access to areas of the refuge which are normally closed to the public. If you would like to participate please contact Albert Harris at 918-231-3485 before Tuesday, December 10, at which time a decision will be made by refuge management.
