Subject: [Tweeters] Mountain & Snowy Plover, Glaucous Gull at Griffeths-Priday
Hi all,
What a tough rollercoaster of emotions on the Ross's Gull, our condolences.

I was very suspicious of a "rain" forecast in this parched and drought-stricken land, in any case Brian and Darschelle Pendleton and Delia and I decided to head down to Griffeths-Priday State Park, north of Copalis Beach, WA  to look for the Mountain Plover that has been being seen. I had imagined the bird differently all these years, very beautiful.  Brian spotted a Glaucous Gull also and found Snowy Plovers as well. We see Carra Borre, who we passed coming in as we were leaving and who did not have a lot of time, also found it.
We had 18 Western Meadowlarks in a field on Ocean Beach Road.

Of course we encountered no significant weather anywhere.
Here are pictures of all the birds mentioned and others:

Best wishes everyone,
