Weekend trip to Wallowa county on the MLK Weekend:

Winter Birding Trip in Wallowa County with Paul Sullivan

Wallowa County in the Winter: Snow covered mountains, crisp mornings, hoar
frosts, Terminal Gravity, the open Zumwalt, Deer, Elk, Coyotes. Time to do
it again!

Where: Wallowa County
Headquarters: Enterprise
Possible Birds: Bohemian Waxwing, Tree Sparrow, Gyrfalcon, Snow Bunting,
Grey-Crowned Rosy-Finch, Common Redpoll, Gray Partridge
When: January 17, 18, 19, 20:
Arrive Friday, bird Saturday, Sunday, and morning of Monday
(MLK Day), and head home in afternoon.

Cost: $35/ person
People: 20 Participants

Joining in:

1. Notify Jim that you wish to go and are sending Jim a check.
2. Send Jim (Not Paul!) a check made out to Audubon Society of Portland for
$35/person : you are finalized on the trip list when he receives the check.
If you have not been on a recent trip, or have changes, please send with the
check your name(s), address, phone number(s), email address.
3. When the trip fills (20 people), Jim will send another email to the list
of participants with all the participants names (who can then arrange
carpooling if desired). I will also send rendezvous information and

Full payment is expected for a trip upon registration. If participants need
to cancel, their enrollment cancellations must be received by Jim Norris in
writing (email ok) TWO WEEKS prior to the trip in order to receive a full
refund. If cancellation notice is received less than 2 weeks from the trip
date and the vacancy can be filled from the waiting list, then a full refund
minus $10 processing fee can be given. If the vacancy cannot be filled from
the waiting list then the entire amount is forfeited.

If the Audubon Society of Portland needs to cancel a trip due to low
enrollment, participants will be given as much advance notification as
possible and a full refund. The Audubon Society of Portland reserves the
right to cancel trips due to inclement weather or instructor illness up to
the date of the trip, in which case a full refund will also be given.
